Build Relationships. Drive Sales. Grow Your Career.

Rachel Williams State Farm is looking for a motivated, sales-focused Account Manager to help grow our agency through new business production, customer conversations, and relationship-based sales.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being proactive, working toward goals, and turning conversations into closed business. The right candidate will be confident speaking with prospects and customers, comfortable with outbound activity, and motivated by the opportunity to grow their income through strong performance.

About the Role

As an Account Manager, you will support agency growth by marketing State Farm insurance products, following up with leads, conducting policy reviews, and identifying opportunities to better protect customers. This is a sales-dominant position where production, consistency, and follow-through are key.

You will work with both warm and cold leads, build long-term customer relationships, and help customers understand insurance options that fit their needs.

Licensing Requirements

This position is licensing contingent.

  • Property & Casualty license must be obtained prior to Day 1 start in the office.
  • Life & Health license must be obtained within 90 days of starting.
  • Full licensing support and guidance will be provided throughout the process.

Primary Responsibilities

In this role, you will:
• Generate new business through outbound calls, lead follow-up, referrals, and prospecting
• Quote, present, and close insurance policies using a needs-based sales approach
• Conduct policy reviews to identify coverage gaps and cross-sell opportunities
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support retention and referrals
• Recommend and explain insurance products to prospective and existing customers
• Follow up consistently with leads and maintain an organized sales pipeline
• Resolve customer concerns while maintaining a growth-focused mindset
• Track activity and production toward agency sales goals
• Collaborate with the team to support overall agency success

What We’re Looking For

A strong candidate will bring:
• Prior sales experience
• A sales-driven mindset with a desire to meet and exceed goals
• Confidence initiating conversations and asking for business
• Strong communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills
• Organization, accountability, and follow-through
• Comfort working in a structured, goal-oriented environment
• Insurance sales or account management experience preferred but not required
• Ability to complete the licensing requirements outlined above

What We Offer

• Competitive base salary plus commission and performance bonuses
• Support through the insurance licensing process
• Ongoing sales training and professional development
• Clear expectations and measurable sales goals
• Supportive, team-oriented agency environment
• Opportunity for long-term growth within the agency
